THE OUTFIELD - ’61 SECONDS’ DEMO

By 1986, The Outfield’s debut album Play Deep had entrenched itself in the album charts as a bona fide smash hit. The album was fueled by four hit singles and gained legendary status because of the quality of uncharted material. One of those uncharted gems was ’61 Seconds’. Tony Lewis has described the track as one of his favorites from Play Deep. In a recent interview, Tony stated that he thought it should have been a single. The Outfield is pleased to release for the very first time, the ’61 Seconds’ demo recorded at Scarf Studios. The demo has a slight variation in the chorus that seems to give the track an added gloss. As you will hear, the foundation of Play Deep was born within these excellent demos.

There's one thing that a good band should not lack and that is passion, belief and commitment.
